Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES - includes the following, but not limited to: Sales (70% of your time): A successful candidate will be able to hit 90% of the sales plan by your 45-day mark and 100% by your 60-day mark.

  • Plan and execute outreach campaigns to our members, private clients, and customers to exceed monthly sales goal
  • Segment lists for effective outreach
  • Manage abandoned carts for members on our website
  • Proactively come up with ideas to hit plan
  • Support the growth of the membership program by signing up new members
  • Potential to travel in-market to conduct member events with the goal of supporting existing relationships and acquiring new customers
  • Host VIP customers when needed Customer Journey Management (20% of your time): A successful candidate knows how to provide high-touch customer service and develop long-term relationships with our members and non-members.
    • Provide exceptional hospitality and high-touch service in a consistent, timely, and thoughtful manner with all customers via email and phone
    • Host VIP customers when needed
    • Manage customer journey for Tasting Room and Bell Mountain Ranch visitors to develop loyal long-term relationships
    • Convey professionalism and is knowledgeable about Medlock Ames wines and stories to cultivate loyal guests
    • Provide exceptional hospitality and high-touch service in a consistent, timely, and thoughtful manner with all customers via email, phone, and in-person
    • Manage day-to-day member emails and calls
    • Manage pre-visit and post-visit outreach to members
    • Assist with winery, restaurant, and hotel recommendations when needed Admin/Other (10% of your time): A successful candidate understands the importance of CRM and will be detailed-oriented and complete the following duties with accuracy.
      • Assist with the processing of member releases (February, May, and September)
      • Assist with shipping orders and customer service as needed
      • Assist members with accurately updating their information online
      • Complete all member Oklahoma UPS labels and Alabama ABC forms in a timely manner
      • Assist with member onboarding procedures
      • Assist with member cancellation procedures
      • Attend staff training and apply new skills taught
      • Assist in ensuring inventory is accurate across multiple locations Education/Experience/Skills:
        • 3+ years of hospitality and/or customer service inside or outside the wine industry
        • College degree preferred
        • Proven ability to make outbound calls to customers and generate phone sales
        • Must be highly sales-oriented and goal-driven
        • Must be highly organized, detailed-oriented, and able to work in a multi-task environment
        • Team player is a must one team, one dream
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
        • Proven ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and work independently
        • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-performance culture
        • Upbeat and positive personality
        • Love of wine is a must, wine industry experience is a plus
        • Job requires working weekends (as needed)
