Registered Polysomnographer - Sleep Center $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Location: Santa Rosa, CA


Work Schedule: Full Time - 80 Biweekly Hours


Shift: 8-hour, Day



Under the supervision of the Manager, this position works independently and conducts polysomnographic testing. The PSGT safely operates sophisticated medical equipment used to record sleep/wake physiology, explains procedures, prepares patients and applies recording devices. Key responsibilities include monitoring polygraph recordings and audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety, test quality, sleep/wake data and other physiological events.



Required Qualifications:

• 
  
• 1 year Experience as a polysomnographic technologist
  
  
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) in good standing with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
  
  
• California Polysomnographic License or Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  
  
• BLS certification.
  
  
  
  
  
  Preferred Qualifications :
  
  
  
  
  
  • 
    
  • Associate's Degree - Polysomnography.
    
    
  • 2 years Experience as a polysomnographic technologist
    
    
  • Membership in Association of Polysomnographic Technologist (APT) or American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)
