UX DesignerJob DescriptionOVERVIEWAs a UX Designer with Jackson Family Wines, you will understand the theory of website architecture, interactive design principles, web usability/accessibility and consumer marketing and business needs. Additionally, you'll have experience with user-centered design from concept to delivery and experience creating style guides and pattern libraries. Your focus will be to partner on both website development, email, and digital projects through the full design process, from early ideation to wireframes and prototypes, and into active development until "go live". You will lead and partner with cross-functional teams from Brand, Digital Marketing, DTC, Creative and Web Services to build industry-leading, mobile-first designs that telling a story and convert consumers.RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with marketing/digital and web development teams to understand product and branding direction to develop appropriate and consistent design solutions
• Build wireframes and storyboards to articulate concepts to users and stakeholders
• Develop and improve digital design through prototyping
• Create documentation and component libraries to use across multiple brands/products
• Conduct stakeholder and customer interviews to understand user needs and design requirements
• Collaborate and assist in the development of customer personas and journey maps to shape our understanding of use cases
• Produce design ideas and collaborate with teams to determine which ideas should move forward into detailed design and eventually production, based on usability testing, standard methodologies, and technical input
• Collaborate with creative, brand, DTC, and development teams to roll out new features
• Support development team throughout the implementation cycle
• Manages multiple projects that span across a diverse collection of brandsQUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • An established portfolio of end-to-end case studies for web/mobile/digital experiences
  • Conceptual thinker with ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into ideal designs
  • Able to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload while managing to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and team-orientedREQUIREMENTS
    • BS or BA required and minimum of 5+ years of experience of design and development experience including wireframing and storyboarding
    • Proficient in Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
    • A strong portfolio that demonstrates user-centered, data informed UX solutions
    • Experience with UX design frameworks and design theming (design language systems)
    • Comfortable and experience with working in an Agile environment
    • Understanding of cross-browser capability issues, mobile, web and accessibility standards
    • Understanding of usability testing and analysis
    • Experience delivering assets to engineers
