Patient Access Registrar - Emergency Registration Location:
Santa Rosa, CA Work Schedule: Full time - 80 Biweekly Hours Shift:
8-hour, Days Performs all registration functions for patients. This
includes collecting accurate demographic information, verifying
insurance benefits and eligibility, obtaining
authorization/precertification for services provided, and
collecting patient liability prior to or at the time of service.
Greets and serves patients in a professional, friendly, and
respectful manner. Required Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in a healthcare or customer service setting.
- Coursework/Training - Some college or certificate courses.
- Experience in hospital registration or healthcare setting.
- Experience utilizing medical terminology in job setting.
