1 in the Lending Department. This position involves evaluating and
underwriting all types of commercial loan requests from new and
existing business customers; preparing comprehensive credit
memorandums for commercial credits usually under $1MM; and
developing new commercial relationships to increase the Bank's loan
portfolio and profitability. You will be responsible for a loan
portfolio of up to $40MM.The ideal candidate has a minimum of three
years direct lending experience in either consumer, commercial or
mortgage loans. A successful person in this role is self-motivated
and willing to proactively assume responsibility for assigned

- Interview prospective commercial loan applicants and obtain all
required information and documents to assess the loan request.
- Thoroughly analyze and understand borrower financial statements
to assess the borrower's ability to repay the proposed loan.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memorandums that adequately
address all issues associated with the loan request and present
same in a clear and concise manner. This includes all types of
basic commercial loans; usually under $1MM.
- Approve loans within specified lending limits and present loan
requests that exceed those limits to the appropriate committee or
Board of Directors for approval.
- Actively engage in business development activities and solicit
new business to increase the Bank's loan portfolio.
- Represent the Bank by being actively involved in community
activities that provide support to local service clubs and
non-profit organizations.
- Under close supervision, proactively manage a loan portfolio of
up to $40MM.
- Diligently monitor assigned loan portfolio to quickly and
accurately identify problem loans and minimize losses to the Bank.
- Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Three years of direct lending experience; consumer, commercial
or mortgage
- The ability to register as a Mortgage Loan Originator through
the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System
- An acceptable credit history
- A valid driver's license
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office products, including
advanced use of Word and ExcelPREFERENCESAssociates Degree in a

- Five years of direct lending experience; consumer, commercial
or mortgage. Three of the five years require direct commercial
lending experience that includes knowledge of accounting
principles, income tax, finance and loan economics, financial
statement analysis, loan structure, loan documentation and
regulations
- The ability to register as a Mortgage Loan Originator through
