Job Description:
DescriptionContact potential residents supplied by the community
in a variety of ways to present the community in the most appealing
way to encourage prospective residents to reserve a residence and
subsequently move in. Represents the community and contributing
creative sales strategy to close sales and offer promotional ideas
that are an integral part of the strategic marketing
plan.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Living Counselor reads, and
develops a clear understanding, and is thoroughly conversant
regarding community contract offerings and community advantages and
distinctions and the ability to anticipate and address prospective
residents questions, concerns, and issues.Gives professional,
personalized and tailored presentations to potential residents.
Arrange professional, well-planned closings.Reach out to prospects
in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database through
telephone calls, e-mails, texts, and written correspondence to move
qualified prospects through the sales pipeline, schedule
appointments and conduct personalized and tailored tours of the
communityThe Senior Living Counselor maintains regular and frequent
contact with depositors and applicants after the reservation is
complete, coordinating with the Transition Specialist/Move In
Coordinator and other staff as needed, continuing to advise the
applicant during preparation for the move to the community. Counsel
applicants on the completion of necessary forms and application
procedures.Contribute to the overall creativity of the marketing
effort, including the appearance of the marketing office and the
model apartments and cooperate as a member of the marketing teamThe
Senior Living Counselor promotes and maintains good working
relationships and communications with applicants, future residents,
co-workers, board members, and corporate representatives.Knowledge,
Skills, and AbilitiesMust be organized, detailed-oriented, and take
initiative with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal
communication skillsMust possess excellent analytical skills and
problem-solving abilityMust possess superior customer service
skills, and be a self-motivated team playerMust be flexible and
work well under pressure, possessing good time management
skillsComputer literacy and experience requiredEducation and
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors
degree preferredPrevious experience in retirement community sales
preferredThree (3) years in a direct customer service position
