We are looking for a Radiology Technologist I for the Radiology
- Sotoyome Department at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Work Schedule: Full time - 80 Biweekly hours
Shift: 8 hour, Days
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Imaging
Services, the Radiologic Technologist I will perform a variety of
radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures using the proper radiation
- Consistently produces quality diagnostic radiographs, utilizing
proper techniques consistent with department protocols and
radiation safety practices.
- Correctly identifies patient and monitors patient's condition
including any special needs (language, handicap, age, etc.).
- Responds to emergencies properly. Triages patients according to
their acuity level.
- Supplies pertinent clinical information for the exam being
performed, making certain that it correlates to appropriateness
- Knowledge of radiological and associated patient care
- Teamwork and flexibility skills.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Education: H.S. Diploma or GED or equivalent educ/experience
- Continued employment is contingent upon obtaining fluoro permit
within 6 months of hire date.
- CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
Preferred Position Qualifications:
Experience: 1 year of experience in an acute care facility.
