POSITION SUMMARY:

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Purchasing Departments data entry and data analysis activities. This position will be able to perform various tasks related to purchase order and component item and BOM lifecycle.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Procurement support of both Direct and Indirect materials

Maintenance of purchase orders and deliveries for bottling at multiple production sites

Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and price per company guidelines

Perform bill of materials evaluation, maintenance and reporting

Gathers and analyzes information and produces accurate reports

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a dynamic environment

Good organizational skills and the ability to follow through on projects

Solid verbal and written communication skills, as well as comfort interfacing with suppliers and internal customers

Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and present summarized results

Able to read and interpret reports

Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 + years work experience in a manufacturing environment with planning, purchasing or packaging technologies
  • Experience with order entry in ERP system

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in an evolving environment with enthusiasm

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

The functions of this position are primarily performed from a seated position in an office environment

Must be able to speak and communicate clearly

Must be able to manipulate a computer keyboard that can involve repetitive motion

Job may sometimes require ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
