Under limited supervision, the Associate Document Control
Specialist is responsible for detailed and accurate data entry.
This position assures quality and approved processing of various
configuration controlled documentation (bills of material,
drawings, software documentation, manufacturing and engineering
procedures, work instructions, technical memoranda) for the
organization. Assures release process adheres to approved,
documented procedures, and supports configuration control reviews
for revision process.
- This is a temporary position that may have the opportunity to
become regular full-time after 90 days.

Coordinate the initial release and change processing of company
documents that are under configuration management. Ensure adherence
to operating procedures and work instructions regarding document
control. Ensure that documentation meets release and revision
standards, and that documents are filed and stored per policies and
procedures. Enter Bill of Material data into MAXCIM (or other
prescribed database or enterprise resource management tool), and
assure that entered data accurately represents drawing and
engineering bill of material requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to document and adhere to standard processes and
- Appropriate skills with software tools (Word, Excel, Access),
Windchill, MAXCIM is a plus.
- Some familiarity with Document Control and Configuration
Management practices, including CM's, CCB, BOM's
- 0 - 2 years' experience with document control systems
- AA degree desirable
