To support our continued growth, we are looking for a talented SEO Manager who will be responsible for leading two of our core SEO teams and assisting the SEO Director with internal projects. The Manager will play a key role in shaping SEO Strategy and ensuring a holistic and best practice approach for our growing business.

The successful candidate will have hands-on SEO and management experience, is a natural mentor for a growing team, can thrive in sometimes ambiguous situations, and instinctively applies structure and process to improve workflows. 



Youll develop and drive strategy for our largest clients, and will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships, owning strategic SEO roadmaps, and employing SEO tactics that drive campaign success for our clients.

  • Manage and participate in implementation of SEO tactics that are data-driven and to be measured against business goals: organic growth, return visitors, time on site, # of pages viewed, acquisition and engagement, and conversion related KPIs.
  • Lead SEO audits of our client websites, present findings and recommendations to team leads and cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee ongoing maintenance and monitoring of backlink profile; develop, execute, and manage link building strategy.
  • Research the latest industry updates, SEO trends, Google algorithm changes, and best practices to inform how you prioritize your SEO recommendations.
  • Monitor and administer all web analytics dashboards and key reporting tools; provide regular reports showing site traffic and make recommendations to strengthen user experience.
  • Oversee ongoing conversion rate optimization and metatag maintenance & improvement
  • Lead the ongoing SEO content and optimization efforts to identify new opportunities and optimize existing content to maximize ranking for strategic keywords.
  • Work cross-functionally to improve platform search-friendliness alongside day-to-day content and front-end optimization work. 
  • Partner with teams across channels to develop category strategies against dental industry and specialty markets; derive and deliver tangible business value from this holistic approach.

Team Management

  • Oversee team of approximately 15 SEO Analysts and Leads and provide day-to-day guidance.
  • Prioritize and execute against cohesive but scalable SEO strategy and department & company goals.
  • Provide training and guidance to team to ensure best practices that promote successful outcomes are being employed.
  • Offer support as needed with SEO strategy, keyword sales support, creating SEO briefs, providing SEO reviews of content, etc.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with direct reports and participate in team lead meetings.
  • Oversee the accountability and performance for the Advanced and Elie teams.
  • Provide real-time, effective performance feedback to team members (positive and constructive) and write & deliver annual performance evaluations.
  • Inspire and motivate team
  • Lead by example in all things and be above reproach in professionalism, attitude, and integrity.



Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills

Applicants must currently reside in CA, NY, WA, GA, IL, OK, MT, or IN. Remote/work from home in these states okay.


  • 4-year college degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3 5 years technical SEO experience
  • Dental and/or medical industry experience helpful
  • Previous experience leading and mentoring high performing teams


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to effectively prioritize & drive business outcomes through SEO, particularly in a large, multi-faceted and fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional critical and strategic thinking skills
  • Polished communication skills and ability to drive a conversation with leadership.
  • Ability to measure the effectiveness of strategy (rankings, traffic, conversions) and make decisions based on data.
  • Expertise of Searchlight, Deepcrawl, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Tag Manager, PageSpeed Analysis, link analysis.
  • Expert knowledge of technical SEO, proven ability to stay abreast of current standards, and willingness to perform regular technical audits.
  • Ability to take in data, business objectives, and context to provide actionable, impactful SEO recommendations across multiple brands.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML (including accessibility, OG metatags, structured data), CSS, XML and JSON sitemaps, and page optimization techniques and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach high performing teams

  • Experience with HTML, CSS & JavaScript coding, and other web programming skills
  • Experience working with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager
  • Prior experience launching and/or growing new brands/sites/products with SEO
  • Prior experience working closely with an SEO agency to expand upon your individual SEO efforts and impact Experience in dental and medical industries.
