In this exciting role as an Incoming Inspector you will have
responsibility for the inspection, testing, and/or verification of
incoming components and materials per documented work instructions
for the transcatheter mitral valve replacement department.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may
- Performs analyses, inspection, and tests of raw materials,
packaging materials, quantitative assays on samples, and/or
finished products from manufacturing, to ensure quality standards
and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and
tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical
- Performs a variety of qualitative tests or qualitative assays
on samples, and to aid in maintenance and certification of test
instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.
- Performs required inspections, checks, analysis and
documentation of studies.
- Work closely with Engineering to develop and improve
Receiving/Inspection process of new parts or commodities.
- Complete inspections using the Micro Vu vision system.
- Complete inspections using the Instron Tensile equipment.
- Complete Visual Inspection.
- The inspector is also required to interact with a computer and
communicate with peers and co-workers.
- Prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports.
- Reviews production records for conformance to procedures.
- Conducts non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged or
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
High School Degree and minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
and may require vocational or technical education and advanced
certification in addition to prior work experience
Nice to Have
Medical device industry experience
Familiar with specification usage.
