We are in search of a capable senior cost accountant who is
ready to roll up their sleeves and tackle a diversity of challenges
that shift daily. We cultivate product from seed all the way
through the value chain, to end customer sale. We are in search of
an ambitious seasoned cost accountant who can help build and
maintain the cost accounting system for our 6 cultivation
locations, as well as the manufacturing hub. Join an accounting

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the

when our office reopens the position will be based at our Santa
Rosa, CA corporate office.
Responsibilities Working with cultivation and production crews
to update our standard costs; review of cost pools, cost drivers,
Review of monthly financials for accuracy, variance analysis,
GAAP treatment, and identification of any necessary changes to the
cost accounting system
Create new, and analyze current, SOPs to improve the current
cost accounting system
Integrate new products into the cost accounting
system/budget/cost analysis etc.
Site visits to review the cultivation and manufacturing process
Summarize and prepare status and transaction reports, including
segment profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and others as
Guide junior accountants and other staff by answering questions
and reviewing work product related to cost accounting
Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,
Finance, or related field
5+ years in accounting, with at least 3+ in a cost accounting
Experience in agricultural or manufacturing cost accounting
CPA or CA highly preferred
SAP experience highly preferred current ERP system is SAP B1
Advanced proficiency in excel
Ability to present and lead discussions related to cost
