We are looking for a Chief Medical Physicist with the AMG Round
Barn Radiation Therapy Department at St. Joseph Heritage
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Schedule : Full time - 64 Biweekly hours
Shift : 8 Hour - Days
Reporting to the Director of Oncology, this role provides
physics support for Radiation Oncology departments. Key
responsibilities include acceptance, testing and commissioning of
therapy hardware; and calibration of therapy equipment. Responsible
for the oversight of the physics and dosimetry department.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure
Ability to effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups of managers, patients, and the general
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability
and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid
geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages,
ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Master's Degree in Medical Physics or related major.
Or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or related major.
5 years related post degree clinical e xperience.
Valid California driver’s license.
Automobile insurance for employee-owned vehicles.
Certified by the ABR.
