Working as the Director of Environmental Services, you are
responsible for supporting the Environmental Services Department
within a Senior Living center.
The Director of Environmental Services is responsible for
effective and productive leadership of the housekeeping, custodial,
and laundry staff with direct oversight of hiring, scheduling and
coaching of these staff.
Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises functions
and activities of the department.
Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and in

Maintains the department in an "inspection ready" state at all
times, assuring the department operates within federal, state, and

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Four year college degree or equal related experience
A minimum of three years of environmental services
A minimum of two years of experience in a related management
Housekeeping management experience at a large account
General business acumen
Excellent interpersonal skills
High customer service and quality attitude
