Job Description Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented
Workers’ Comp Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive
administrative support to our Workers’ Compensation department.
This role supports the WC Manager, supervisor, and paralegals by
managing discovery document service requests, preparing
correspondence and legal filings, and maintaining accurate attorney
service lists for each case. The Administrative Assistant plays a
key role in keeping cases organized, deadlines met, and
documentation properly prepared and served. Primary
responsibilities include sending and following up on authorization
packets for new clients; preparing Applications for filing with the
Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board; compiling medical records for
experts and document productions for defendants; preparing
deposition packets; updating and serving Notices of Representation,
denial letters, and appearance sheets; and handling filing and
service of medical-legal reports through EAMS. The position also
involves calendaring per managing attorney directives, scanning and
saving documents to internal systems, preparing informal conference
folders and notices, updating service lists and case information,
processing copy fee requests, drafting document production letters,
fulfilling service requests, and assisting with subpoena responses
for related civil matters. Accuracy, organization, and timely
service to both internal and external parties are essential to this
role. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or one to
two years of office experience and/or training, or an equivalent
combination of education and experience. One to two years of office
experience is required, with law firm or workers’ compensation
experience preferred. Proficiency with WordPerfect, Microsoft Word
and Excel, and database applications is necessary, along with the
ability to work under intense deadlines, multitask effectively, and
collaborate as part of a team. Bilingual fluency in English and
Spanish is required. This position uses standard office equipment
and includes responsibility for completing check requests for
document ordering. The Administrative Assistant serves as an
important point of contact, ensuring timely provision of documents
to help move cases efficiently toward resolution. Remote MUST LIVE
