Job Description:
Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leading cloud services provider, is
looking for a seasoned Data Center Project Manager to join our
US-West CPI team. The role involves overseeing the planning,
execution, and successful delivery of projects within our data
center facilities, ensuring that all aspects of the project
lifecycle meet AWS's high standards and customer expectations. The
position requires a strategic thinker with robust technical skills
and a deep understanding of data center operations and project
management. Oversee all project phases from conception through to
completion Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory
requirements Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and
vendors Mitigate project risks and handle any issues that may arise
Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders Drive
initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce project costs
Advocate for and implement AWS best practices and innovations
within projects Strong project management skills In-depth knowledge
of data center technologies and operations Proficiency in using PM
software tools like MS Project and Excel Excellent leadership and
communication skills Ability to manage complex budgets and
timelines Experience in stakeholder and vendor management Medical
