Job Description:

We are seeking an SR. NETWORK ENGINEER(WIFI FOCUS) to join our team in a SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT company in MOUNTAIN VIEW. This position is a Contract-W2 role with Onsite work set-up. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced Senior IT Network Engineer with a deep focus on enterprise Wi-Fi networking to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of our wireless network infrastructure. This role requires in-depth knowledge of wireless technologies, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for delivering reliable, high-performance connectivity solutions across large-scale environments. Required Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). *5 years of experience in network engineering with at least 3 years focused on enterprise wireless networking. *Strong hands-on experience with enterprise Wi-Fi solutions (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, etc.). *Proficient in wireless standards and technologies: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, MIMO, beamforming, channel planning. *Familiar with authentication methods such as RADIUS, EAP, and Active Directory integration. *Skilled in using Wi-Fi tools like Ekahau, NetSpot, Wireshark, and spectrum analyzers. *Understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, QoS, etc. Preferred Certifications: *CWNA, CWDP, CWSP, or other CWNP certifications *Cisco or HPE Wireless (e.g., CCNP Wireless) *Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) *Ekahau Certified Survey Engineer (ECSE) Other Skills: *Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to cooperatively work with peers *Strong analytical and problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and abilities *Strong understanding in peer team areas such as servers and desktop support *Expert at designing implementing networks for new locations *Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities *Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines *Self-motivated and detail-oriented
