Job Description:
Sage Intacct, Inc. Software Engineer, Platform and API San Jose,
CA $146,307 - $201,000 per year • Work with Product Management to
understand the feature requirements and tradeoffs. • Work in Agile
teams to design and implement scalable and repeatable high-quality
software solutions. • Create functional specifications and designs,
and present recommendations to the Architects and Leads. •
Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the Agile software
development life cycle. • Collaborate with internal teams to
develop clean and efficient APIs. • Work with QA to ensure the
quality of the features, including the creation and maintenance of
test cases. • Telecommuting permitted up to 30% from geographic
area near San Jose, CA. Key Responsibilities Employer will accept a
Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science,
Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job
offered or in a Software Engineer, Platform and API-related
occupation. Position requires 12 months of experience in the
following: • Developing application frameworks, APIs, and Internet
applications. • Object-oriented design and coding; • Coding in Java
and PHP; • Utilizing technologies including Kubernetes and Docker
containers; • REST API development and OpenAPI specification; •
Utilizing SQL and understanding database/data modeling concepts,
including Oracle DB; • Utilizing tools including Jenkins, GitHub,
Jira, Snowflake, and Mongo DB; • Delivering high-quality,
well-designed software products. • Telecommuting permitted up to
30% from geographic area near San Jose, CA.
