Perplexity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team, revolutionizing the way people search and interact with the internet. You will be responsible for diverse IT needs for our SF HQ office and other growing offices. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead the future of our technology infrastructure for our rapidly expanding teams.This role is in person 5 days a week at our San Francisco, CA location.Responsibilities

• Manage the IT needs of in-person and remote offices
• Procure, maintain, and administer computers, networking equipment, and office technology
• Oversee Mobile Device Management (MDM) infrastructure
• Provision and manage user accounts and permissions
• Lead technical onboarding and offboarding
• Provide prompt, effective technical support and troubleshoot complex issues
• Lead IT projects focused on identity management, endpoint management, and security enhancementsQualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on IT systems administration experience
  • Strong proficiency in macOS & GSuite environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Experience managing and implementing SSO solutions such as OneLogin, Okta, Google Workspace, etc.
  • Experience with wifi and networking
  • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including firewalls, encryption, and antivirus solutions
  • Proven track record in managing IT projects, including system upgrades and new implementations
  • Scripting experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience supporting remote offices and employeesThe cash compensation range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000.At Perplexity, we've experienced tremendous growth and adoption since publicly launching the world's first fully functional conversational answer engine in 2022. We've grown from answering 2.5 million questions per day at the start of 2024 to around 20 million daily queries in December 2024.Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity is part of the total compensation package.Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents.
