Job DescriptionHR Corporate Trainer: SUMMARY: As the Human
Resources Corporate Trainer, you are responsible for creating and
delivering training programs that effectively assist employees in
developing the knowledge and skills needed to perform their daily
job function and support the next step of their career path.
Responsible for assessing training needs and requirements,
creating, designing and updating training materials that support
the Company's core values, schedule and facilitate job-specific
trainings, measure and evaluate training effectiveness. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may
be assigned. Ability to effectively lead from the Company's Mission
Statement and manage organizational knowledgeIdentify and assess
training priorities within the companyAlign training goals with
overall Company and departmental objectivesDevelop, organize,
conduct, and evaluate training programs; aligning key goals with
learning objectives and outcomesCreate, organize, and obtain
teaching materials, training procedure manuals and course
materialsPlan, organize, and implement a range of trainings to
teach skills for specific jobs in the following areas; checker,
bakery checker, barista, combo clerk, utility clerk, facilitator,
food handler, AB18 , meat department, forklift, front end lead,
grocery stocker, and other necessary re-trainingsCommunicate with
leadership, coordinators and managers to ascertain training
needsCoordinate training schedules with employee,
manager/coordinator, HR Recruiter, and outside vendors to minimize
disruption of normal workplace flowWork collaboratively and
proactively to address and respond to performance gapsDeliver
trainings using various techniques; classroom learning,
presentations, demonstrations, one-on-one coaching, computer based
trainingTrain all new hires and provide retraining to current
employees as neededEvaluate the competencies of individual trainees
to ascertain knowledge and skill levelAssist employees to approve
upon or enhance existing skillsEvaluate effectiveness of trainings
and modify training programs as neededMonitor, evaluate, and
maintain all training recordsTravel between retail store
locationsQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an

CertificateCorporate Trainer Certification a plusEXPERIENCE Minimum
of two years of experience and working knowledge of retail grocery
operationsMinimum of two years of experience in a leadership
roleMinimum of one year proven track record in successful
management and delivery of training processes utilizing different
delivery methodsMinimum of one year experience data entry in a
Human Resource Management System (HRMS)Excellent understanding of
Federal and State laws, OSHA Regulations, Food Safety, Weights and
Measures, Alcohol Beverage Control SKILLS Must have excellent
interpersonal and observational skills, be well organized, detailed
oriented and comfortable working with all levels of the
organizationRequires initiative, motivation, creativity and ability
to understand many areas of expertiseStrong computer skills
including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and
OutlookExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to
adjust communications to a global audienceExcellent administrative
skills to manage training programsHigh degree of organizational
understandingAbility to protect highly confidential and sensitive
informationAbility to work independently, prioritize duties,
complete daily procedures and responsibilities with minimal

improvement coaching LANGUAGE SKILLS Bilingual, English/Spanish is

group situations to employees and managers MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Must
be able to do basic math (addition, subtraction, division,
multiplication)Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in
