• Hours/Week: Guaranteed 8 hours/day; OT applies after 8 hours/day
• Employment Type: Locum Assignment
• License/Certifications: Active CA License, CA DEA, BLS, ACLS, Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency)
• Experience: At least 2 weeks on/2 weeks off availability; PA-C with general surgery experience, NPs must have ACNP credential and be nationally certified

What You ll Do

• Provide general surgery assistance in an urgent care setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams to support patient management and care
• Perform assessments, procedures, and documentation within scope
• Assist with surgical pre-op and post-op procedures
• Ensure compliance with hospital privileging and credentialing requirements
• Document case logs and maintain updated hospital affiliations
• Support the overall surgical team during the assigned shift

What You Need
Required:

• Active California medical license and CA DEA
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Board Certified or within 3-5 years of residency (for providers aiming for eligibility)
• PA-C with general surgery experience or NP with ACNP credential and national certification
• Minimum of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off availability or more

Preferred:

• Recent hospital-based clinical activity in general surgery (minimum 2 years)
• Valid case logs demonstrating surgical experience
• Ability to adhere to travel and onboarding requirements
