Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Clearlake, CA Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,953 to $2,153 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program. Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in good standing. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. One year experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting preferred; experience with adult and geriatric populations desired. Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Ability to perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) and electrocardiograms (EKGs) independently. Experience providing critical care and routine respiratory services, and working with ventilators and common respiratory equipment in hospital settings. Preferred: Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days 0500-1800. Schedule Pattern: 3 x 12s; typical rotation Wednesday–Friday or Thursday–Saturday as specified by the client. Weekly Hours: Approximately 36. No mandatory on-call. Opportunity to pick up additional shifts may be available. Clinician must be able to work independently and supervise delegated staff as needed.
