Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Anesthesia - Discipline: CRNA - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 10 hours - Employment Type: Locum Tenens Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Location: Santa Clara, CA Assignment Length: 6 Months (ASAP Start, Ongoing Need) Employment Type: Locum Tenens Openings: 2–3 FTE Position Overview Kaiser Permanente is seeking skilled CRNAs to join a high-functioning anesthesia team in Santa Clara, CA. This role offers strong autonomy within a collaborative care team model across a variety of surgical settings. Schedule & Shifts - Monday – Sunday coverage - 8–10 hour shifts (flexible scheduling) - OB shifts available (12-hour day & night shifts) - No Call Required - Weekend & OB availability highly preferred Clinical Environment - 8–9 OR rooms daily - 5–6 ASC rooms - 2 Eye Center rooms - 2 EP Labs Responsibilities - Provide anesthesia care across inpatient and outpatient procedures - Work independently with strong autonomy in a care team model - Collaborate with anesthesiologists as needed - Participate in onboarding/proctoring (~1 week) to ensure comfort with workflow Case Mix - General Surgery, MAC, Outpatient Procedures - GI, Endoscopy, Pulmonary, Oncology - Orthopedics, GYN - Eye procedures (cataracts) - Pediatrics - OB (spinals/epidurals preferred but not required) Additional Notes: - No Hearts / No Pain / No Regional Blocks - Head cases not required (bonus if experienced) Requirements - Board Certified CRNA - Active California License - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) - OB experience preferred but not mandatory About TheraEX Staffing Services TheraEx Staffing Services is a leading name in healthcare staffing solutions.
