Telemetry Tech Location: Jackson, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,510 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: Monitor Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Monitor Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State License Certifications: BLS, EKG certification (or CCT/CRAT) Must-Have: CNA highly preferred Experience in cardiac monitoring and bedside care Description: Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, the position performs routine patient care, support, and services. The role includes accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms through continuous cardiac monitoring. Education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills are integrated to gain confidence and cooperation from patients and their families. Sound judgment and developed clinical skills are essential to support the patient's plan of care. Adherence to all regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is required to ensure privacy and safety. The monitor technician generates, reads, and interprets monitor strip print-outs based on patient needs and rhythm changes. Communication of changes in cardiac rhythms to the appropriate healthcare team members is critical. Routine and priority tasks must be completed within established time frames. Maintenance of equipment and understanding of procedures performed by physicians is necessary. The technician provides appropriate direct patient care, including taking vital signs and assisting with daily living activities. Explaining and educating patients on examinations, tests, and medical procedures in a professional manner is expected. The position mentors and fosters a constructive environment that helps new nursing professionals build confidence in their skills and knowledge.
