Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - IR /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide compassionate patient care in interventional radiology setting /n• Review and administer patient medications, treatments, and procedures in safe, effective, and age-appropriate manner /n• Perform various tasks including starting IVs, accessing ports, administering medications, moderate sedation, managing vasoactive drips /n• Assist with ventilator management on high acuity ICU patients /n• Support anesthesia with induction and intubation/extubation for adults and pediatrics /n• Work with patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics /n• Handle 10-16 cases per day in fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously /n• Must demonstrate and abide by radiation safety regulations /n• Complete accurate and timely documentation of procedure and patient information /n• Assist multidisciplinary team with room preparation and turnover for efficient workflow /n• No weekend requirement, but weekend and weeknight on-call may be required with minimal call coverage /n• 40 hours of orientation required /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all must be AHA certified) /n• Epic charting system experience preferred /n• 2 years of experience required - IR or procedural nursing preferred, ICU or ED experience will be considered /n• Travel experience required /n• May float to other locations if census is low on home unit /n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing /n• Valid state license required at time of submission /n• 7-year work history verification required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical campus providing advanced interventional radiology services and specialized patient care.
