Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 3/3/2026 About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a
qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Woodland, California, 95695! ID:
75514707 Shift: 12H Nights 12hr Nights, EOW, First to Float
Description: Unit Sol prescreens/auto offer & manager has 24 hrs to
rescindneed 2 sup refs (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 w/in 12
mo. & 1 w/in 3 years workedModules are required done before start.
Modules take 3-4 hours -not billableCandidates may not have been
directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility
associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within
the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside
firms will be considered.PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE, THE DYS EXAM THROUGH
Relias IS REQUIRED ALONG WITH ACCEPTANCE. MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN
24-48 HRS. IT S PASS OR FAIL AND THEY GET 2 ATTEMPTS (TEST A SHOULD
BE ASSIGNED FIRST, TEST B SHOULD BE ASSIGNED FOR THE RETAKE). A
SCREENSHOT SHOWING THE NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS IS REQUIRED. We can
accept the Relias Dys exam within the last 12mo if the traveler has
previously taken If your traveler fails the 2nd attempt, they will
be made DNU for CommonSpirit AZ and Sac- Unit: ICUFirst to Float
Will be expected to float to sister facilities as well as the
MedSurg unit at Woodland, as needed- beds: 8 bed- Certs: BLS,
ACLS,, NIHSS. PALS required. 2 years of ICU experience.- Ratios:
1:1-2- EMR: Cerner- Charge Nurse: Yes, generally does not take
patients, but will do break relief.- Nurse Aides: Yes as census and
staffing dictates- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend-
Holidays: Rotate in with core staff- Scrub Color: Navy - under
shirts must be navy, white, or black. Scrub jackets are optional,
must be navy.- Tele: Yes, must be able to read and interpret EKG
strips.- Vents: Yes- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes,
Hospitalist or Intensivist- IV Team: No- RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy
24/7: Yes- Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7 - 730. Report is at the bedside.
OT and extra shifts are available. Self-scheduling is used, but is
not finalized until Manager balances it. Schedules are out 4 weeks.
Travelers can access their schedules from home and make themselves
\"available\" for extra shifts and make trades with other staff.
Block scheduling is generally not available.- Floating: All other
Sacramento facilities. Mid-shift float to another facility is rare,
but can happen. First to Float Will be expected to float to sister
facilities as well as the MedSurg unit at Woodland- Floor specific
orientation: 1 - 2 days on the floor with preceptor.- Common
diagnosis / Types of patients: Primarily medical ICU common
diagnoses.- Additional Notes: ICU has a horseshoe layout. Good
place for a basic ICU RN traveler. PACU is adjacent to ICU.
Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3
shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting BSN
License to Trauma Level: Care Shift Nights, EOW, First to Float
Required (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA) Guaranteed Hours: 36
