Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for
a Labor & Delivery position in California requiring active CA
licensure, night shifts, and specialized certifications.
Responsibilities - Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit -
Assignment is 13 weeks with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to
7:30 AM - Care for laboring mothers including high-risk obstetric
cases - Utilizes the Epic EMR system - Duties include comprehensive
care for laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns - Must
provide documentation of all active licenses and certifications for
eligibility - Local candidates considered at the same rate as
travelers - EPIC charting experience preferred but not explicitly
required - Contingent workers may not exceed two years of
assignment within the health system without a 90-day break
Requirements - Active CA RN license required at time of
consideration - Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years)
full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery experience - Graduate of an
accredited nursing program - Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal
Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications - Preferred: BSN or
related field - Preferred: Over 5 years of recent L&D
experience and at least 1 year of high-risk L&D experience
within the past 2 years - Experience with high-risk OB patients
preferred - Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for
