Sterling Medical is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide comprehensive mental health services to active-duty service members at the U.S. Coast Guard Clinic in Petaluma, California. This is an excellent opportunity to support those who serve—while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule and no after-hours responsibilities. Location: U.S. Coast Guard Training Center – Petaluma, California Employer: Sterling Medical Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday; 40 hours/week Job Type: Full time Work Location: In person Position Highlights: Provide diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy (CBT, psychodynamic, etc.), crisis intervention, and care coordination Conduct individual, group, couples, and family counseling Develop and manage treatment plans, ensure fitness-for-duty evaluations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Deliver timely documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program Completion of an APA-accredited internship (post-doc or ABPP board cert may be considered if not APA-accredited) Active, unrestricted license to practice in any U.S. state or territory Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience (within the past 5 years) Current BLS certification (AHA, ARC, ASHI, or ACEP) No adverse findings in the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) What We Offer Full time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 11 Federal Holidays Paid Who We Are Sterling Medical Corporation is a leader in health care professional staffing.
