Prokatchers is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Albion, Nebraska.Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: TravelSalary: $1,800.64/week.
  Shift Timings: Days 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM. Includes an on-call schedule (1-2 weekdays per week, and 1 weekend per month). On call schedule is approximately from 05:00 PM - 06:00 AM. On call would cover: OB and emergency endo only (all traumas are sent out)

  Description:
  Preparing and sterilizing the operating rooms, as well as the necessary equipment and instruments, prior to any surgical procedures.
  Assisting surgeons during operations by passing instruments, holding retractors, and managing materials.
  Maintaining aseptic and safe conditions in the operating room.
  Taking an active part in complex surgical procedures as required.
  Ensuring that all surgical equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
  Enforcing proper sterilization techniques, ensuring all surgical instruments are sterile before use.
  Providing patient care pre-operatively, during surgery, and post-operatively as needed.
  Following department procedures for scrub persons and maintaining appropriate personal hygiene.
  Disposing of waste materials andsoiled linen in a safe and appropriate manner.
  Participating in continuous learning and professional development to keep up with advancements in surgical technology.
  Certifications and Licenses Required:
  A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program and surgical technologist certification. CST certification.
  Required Education:
  High School Diploma / GED
