transfer or push a patient side to side to a sitting position to a
standing position or laterally. The employee must demonstrate a

RolesRadiologic Technologist (AHCL)Assists physician in
administering opaque media.Assists with performing all department
functions clerical through technical as needed.Attends staff
meetings and in-service programs. Takes responsibility for ongoing
continuing education.Instructs and trains ancillary personnel as
necessary and assists with cross training of other x-ray
personnel.Maintains and meets expectations on time for all
competencies license certifications and education requirements as
outlined by local administration Adventist Health (AH) The Joint
Commission (TJC) Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
and all other regulatory agencies.Maintains and troubleshoots lazar
printing equipment and PACS.Maintains patient flow and coordination
of other imaging procedures. Maintains records. Shows working
knowledge of patient orders status changes patient charges and
profiles.Maintains quality control for designated area and
participates in hospital-wide quality assurance program.Operates
imaging equipment to produce radiographs of designated areas of the
body. Selects proper technical factors on an individual basis.
Produces images under difficult or special conditions. Provides
safe age appropriate care.Participates in On-Call assignments and
work schedule changes when necessary or per the needs of the
department. Performs in a multi-modality department with technical
competence.Transports and positions patients. Provides radiation
protection for self and patient.Willingly performs other duties and
