Description Staff Nurse II - Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) Services Location: Santa Rosa, CA Work Schedule: Full Time - 72 Biweekly Hours Shift: 12-hour, Nights Here, nurses are not simply valued-they're invaluable. • Coursework/Training - PICC/PRN (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter, Procedure and Resources Nurse): - PICC line competency. - Phlebotomy competency within 30 days of hire.
• 6 months experience as a RN in a health care setting.
• PICC/PRN (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter, Procedure and Resources Nurse): * 5 years experience as an RN in an acute care hospital setting. * Cardiac monitoring experience. * Procedural sedation experience.
• Current California RN licensure.
• BLS within 60 days of hire.
• PICC/PRN (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter, Procedure and Resources Nurse): * Intravenous Procedural Sedation Certification within 6 weeks of hire. * ACLS within 60 days of hire. * Port-a-Cath Certification within 90 days of hire. Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Coursework/Training - PICC/PRN (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter, Procedure and Resources Nurse): Trauma Recorder class.
  • 1 year acute care experience.
  • PICC/PRN (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter, Procedure and Resources Nurse): Critical Care and/or Emergency Department experience.
  • PICC/PRN (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter, Procedure and Resources Nurse): * TNCC certification. * PALS certification.
