Job Description:
A behavioral and mental health company is seeking a Remote
Mental Health Compliance Officer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following
responsibilities:
Report progress to the executive team and the board of
directors
Perform Policy management
Manage the compliance hotline and all incidents (from report to
investigation)
Qualifications Include:
Expertise in HIPAA Privacy & Security rules and regulations
Foundational knowledge of healthcare compliance with an ability to
influence the organization to comply
8+ years of experience in healthcare of which at least 3 of which
must be in a compliance role
Ability to coordinate audits/reviews from payers or regulatory
entities
Ability to overseeing the medical records department
Ability to overseeing the grievance process for complaints and
making sure we meet required timelines for resolving issues
