Position: Behavioral Health Director Full-Time with Benefits
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Worksite: Santa Rosa

Purpose : The Behavioral Health (BH) Director provides clinical
leadership, administrative, and budgetary management/oversight to
the behavioral health staff, services and programs. The BH Director
will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring
clinical, legal, ethical and cultural policies and procedures. This
position may include a minimal client case load to adults, couples,
children and their families, youth, and groups. Expertise in crisis
intervention, trauma-informed care, treatment plan development,
psychotherapeutic legal/ethical issues and Indian Child Welfare Act
(ICWA) matters. Will work closely with the behavioral health team,
primary care providers, and outside agencies to meet clients'
clinical and non-clinical health needs through integrated care and
specialized services in the behavioral health and substance abuse
fields. The BH Director will be involved in developing an
integrated system of care that's culturally responsive and
appropriate to SCIHP patients. Qualifications: Hold & maintain a
current, valid & unrestricted California license as: Psychiatrist,
Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Or other demonstrated
professional management experience. Five (5) years of experience in
behavior health setting preferred. Three (3) years supervisory
experience. Provides clinical oversight in the delivery of
behavioral health services across multiple programs and locations
focusing on integration of behavioral health services into the
health care setting at SCIHP. Will be responsible for hiring,
supervising, and assigning the work of the behavioral health
providers and staff. This includes setting schedules, managing
timecards and requests for time off. Provides counseling in
individual, group, and family settings that is trauma-informed,
culturally sensitive and culturally relevant. This position may
include a minimal client case load. In conjunction with the
Supervising LCSW this position will provide clinical supervision of
non-licensed behavioral health staff, including Marriage Family
Therapy Interns and trainees, Associate Clinical Social Worker,
Associate Social Worker interns and trainees & Licensed
Professional Clinical Counselor trainee. Must pass a pre-employment
drug screen, physical and background investigation. MUST have proof
of completed COVID vaccinations. Special Qualifications : Must be
sensitive to the needs of the Native American Community, which
