Opportunity Information Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation (SPMF) has an opportunity for Integrative Medicine Physicians to join the Sutter Health Institute for Health & Healing Specialty and Primary Care practices.--- Sutter Health---s Institute for Health & Healing (IHH) is growing rapidly and is currently recruiting highly skilled Integrative Medicine physicians for its clinics in San Francisco, Greenbrae, Santa Rosa and Sacramento. We seek passionate, experienced physicians who employ a holistic approach to patient care and want to participate in an innovative, transformative model of Integrative Care based on collaborating with a team of like-minded healthcare professionals. All IHH physicians and allied providers use evidence-based integrative modalities to address physical, mental and spiritual health. Our clinics currently bill insurance for many of these services, and are funded to assist low income patients. The successful candidate will participate in the development of this high-tech/high-touch patient-centered care model. The successful candidate will participate in the development of this innovative, high-tech/high-touch patient-centered care model.--- The ideal candidate for our Integrative practice is:--- Strongly aligned with the IHH---s vision of healing people and transforming healthcare from within the structure of a leading healthcare system.--- Current and active California MD or DO license.--- Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.--- Knowledgeable, aware and experienced in an area of integrative healthcare including, but not limited to, herbal and natural medicines, acupuncture, functional medicine, osteopathy and/or other manual therapies or mind body techniques.--- Competent in facilitative leadership, with excellent communication skills.--- Skilled and experienced with Team-based Care.--- Self-directed; compassionate, creative, enthusiastic, adaptable, and flexible.--- Able to engage patients in owning their personal health and healing and supporting behavioral changes.--- Committed to on-going program development, practice growth and expansion.--- Experienced in practicing integrative medicine in either a primary care or specialty setting preferred.--- Dedicated to patient outcomes measurement and data-driven improvement to demonstrate the value and effectiveness of care through tracking health measures, functionality, quality of life, access and affordability. Full-time and part-time positions available; candidate should be willing to work some expanded hours (evenings or early mornings, etc.).--- The IHH was founded in 1990 at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, and opened California---s first state-accredited integrative medicine clinic in 1997. The IHH is a nationally-renowned integrative medicine program and 2 operates under the leadership of Regional Director, Judith Tolson, and Co-Medical Directors Jeffrey Draisin, MD and Peter Lovett, MD.
