General Manager of Electronic Warfare - Aerospace Defense
Senior Manager
The General Manager (GM) of Electronic Warfare will drive and own a multi-hundred-million-dollar revenue business with a focus on Electronic Warfare, Radar and Space/Satellite. This position also has responsibility for the ADGS Custom Solutions team with primary focus on US and Europe. The GM will be responsible for all aspects of the P&L including strategic planning, order generation and operating expenses. The director will partner with other Keysight organizations to meet operating profit targets. This position will identify, qualify and capture new business in the Electronic Warfare/Radar/Satellite market segments. S/He will do so by using deep market segment knowledge, program management skills and general management experience.

Key responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for executive customer engagements worldwide.
- Develop and directly manage a world-class Aerospace Defense team that ensures aggressive growth goals are met. This includes working and partnering with internal and external organizations to deliver value to customers.
- Lead the go to industry strategy for the Electronic Warfare portfolio, identifying new opportunities, developing strategic plans, and funding investments required to capture profitable revenue.
- Coordinate Electronic Warfare marketing strategies and plans to support a One Keysight solution differentiation and scale.
- Act as an extended member of the ADGS and CSG Senior Staff, to share experience and customer insight.
- Grow the opportunity pipeline, to include existing as well as adjacent markets/customers, through diligent and timely identification/qualification of new business opportunities by leveraging current technologies, customer intimacies, and inter-company collaboration
- Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for the pursuit and successful capture of key opportunities including the application of Signal Intelligence (COMINT & ELINT) as it applies to electronic warfare
- Support the development of an on-going multiple year strategic roadmap by providing EW/Radar/Satellite expertise.
- Obtain marketing intelligence and competitive data pertaining to potential targeted pursuits, and develop portfolio strategies
- Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships and assess competitor capabilities aligned with specific customers in selected DoD market space

Job Qualifications

-
This strategic leadership role requires a combination of technical and business skills
- Technical degree, Masters preferred, MBA is beneficial
- 10-15+ years demonstrated experience as a Director with proven success in aerospace/defense roles
- Experience with Electronic Warfare
- Military experience is advantageous
- Strong AD eco-system knowledge of the AD industry with knowledge of global structures, trends and requirements
- Successful P&L experience and track record (multi hundred million)
- Experience in leading organization wide change programs
- Experience working in matrixed organizations where high levels of collaboration across business groups is required.
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate, mentor, support and evaluate the ADGS team
- Ability to identify, establish and drive customer executive relationships with senior level officials and program stakeholders in DoD Service organizations (Navy, Air Force, Army, Air National Guard)
- US citizen with clearances or ability to obtain clearances
- Preferred location is in our Headquarters in Santa Rosa California. We will consider alternate locations that are close to a Keysight location and our major customer hubs (i.e, Loveland, CO, Calabasas or El Segundo, CA
