making.Summary:Vaxcyte is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
candidate to join our Human Resources team. The Manager, HR
Operations will play an important role in managing the deployment
and administration of processes used to deliver HR programs,
processes, and projects for the company including those related to
the employment life cycle such as hiring, terminations, and job and
compensation changes. This role will also own employee data
management processes and ensure that data is secure and maintained
in accordance with company policies and privacy regulations,
maintain internal HR systems (including Workday), develop and
deliver key HR metrics and dashboards provided to senior management
and lead projects to enhance HR Operations processes and system
workflows.Essential Functions:
- Serve as the Workday subject matter expert.
- Lead the testing and promotion of new releases, configuration
changes, integrations and other applicable functionality.
- Oversee all processes related to the employment life
cycle.
- Responsible for the onboarding, offboarding and reporting of
the contingent workforce.
- Ensure people systems are configured and maintained in
alignment with business strategies and compliance / operational
requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting data feeds and
system integrations with internal systems and outside vendors /
carriers.
- Partner with Finance to prepare domestic and global
payroll.
- Partner with IT, Finance and other department leaders to
successfully execute projects and design sustainable workflows
across the HR technology infrastructure.
- Work with data sources to support reporting and analytics that
can be leveraged for meaningful action to impact business results
and to meet all compliance requirements.
- Manage all leaves of absence.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure consistency, share best
practices, improve processes and develop system
knowledge.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field of study,
with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in system and project implementation,
collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining accurate
system data, and ensuring people systems align with business
strategies and compliance requirements; 1 year of Workday
experience.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the
ability to work with and analyze complex data sets.
- Excellent Excel skills with a strong understanding of complex
formulas and advanced functions.
- Ability to generate accurate, concise and meaningful reports /
charts that tell a complete story and help drive strategic
decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to
effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the
organization.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Ability to
lead and motivate cross functional teams to achieve high levels of
performance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage
multiple activities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects
of work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and
adapt to changing priorities and requirements.Reports to: Vice
President, Total RewardsLocation: San Carlos, CACompensation: The
compensation package will be competitive and includes comprehensive
benefits and an equity component.Salary Range: $139,000 - $162,000
(SF Bay Area). Salary ranges for non-California locations may
