*JOB TITLE: Human Resources Manager*

*STATUS: * *Full Time*

*FLSA: Exempt*

*REPORTS TO: Director of Operations*

*SUPERVISES: N/A*

*WORKING HOURS*

This is a salaried position and the incumbent will work from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

*SUMMARY*:

Responsible for delivering best in class human resources to Keegan & Coppin, further positioning the organization for continued growth and profitability by identifying, cultivating, attracting and retaining the absolute best talent in every market we serve. Will serve as a consultant and provide human resources guidance and leadership in the management and oversight of policies, programs and services. This may include strategic integration and execution of tactics within recruitment and retention, legal compliance, talent management, departmental development, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, covid protocols, communication and general employment practices. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and seeks to develop and implement integrated solutions to enhance our employee life cycle.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *

* Develop and maintain core human resource programs, such as job descriptions, onboarding, handbooks, performance appraisal systems, compensation evaluations, and best management practices.
* Maintain compliance with state and federal employment laws
* Benefits Administration- point of contact for all employees regarding benefits and open enrollment, main administrator on benefits portal
* Knowledge of trends, research/recommend best practices of new technologies in HR, future policies and has a pulse on CA law
* Review, update, and administer Covid protocols/procedures and response
* Provides tools to support the hiring process by providing behavioral interviewing guidelines, application templates, pre-employment testing information, and recruiting assistance.
* Assist in the onboarding process of new hires, review background checks, process new hire paperwork, verify work authorization, and assist with or conduct new employee orientation.
* Support offboarding process my crating and processing separation documentation
* Schedule meetings, interviews, HR Office events and maintain agendas as needed
* Coordinate employee training sessions as needed for employees and agents
* Support engagement initiatives and communications between Keegan and Coppin offices
* Oversees development and improvement of training programs for all segments of the organization
* Monitors and analyzes trends in turnover and other key metrics employment metrics. Develops recommendations accordingly
* Update, maintain and enforce company policies working with management teams.
* Answer employee questions regarding HR processes and procedures
* Conducts investigations related to allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Provides summary of investigations to Operations.
* Assists in resolution of grievances and coordinates process of responding to complaints.
* Conducts manager/supervisor trainings on compliance issues, such as harassment and work-related injuries.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

*QUALIFICATIONS: *

* Minimum of three years progressive human resource management experience required.
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field, or six years experience in lieu of degree
* Strong knowledge of CA employment laws
* Intermediate computer skills in MS-Windows, MS-Office (ie., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS-Outlook
* Exceptional organization and time management skills.

*EDUCATION: *

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related field, REQUIRED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
