NeilMed Pharmaceuticals Inc. is based in Santa Rosa, California with offices worldwide. The Company's -40+ major product SKUs representing multi-millions of dollars are all manufactured within three US locations and exported to various warehouses, distributors and customers worldwide. NeilMed's branded products are Over the Counter (OTC) consumer goods sold extensively within the USA and Canada through pharmacies, various retailers (big box, grocery, discounters, etc.) and on-line as well as in 30+ different countries.NeilMed's global distribution requires its products to be manufactured in multiple languages. Our facilities manufacture dry powder and liquid products and assemble medical devices. There are approximately two hundred employees working in the production of both sterile and nonsterile products. -Manufacturing operates three shifts five days a week with Saturday and Sunday shifts during periods of heavy demand. Operations are managed to a steady, yet improving, production flow to maintain the overall staff numbers working in the manufacturing facilities and avoid any significant seasonal variations. Manufacturing production personal speak English, Spanish, East Indian languages and similar languages. Company continues to invest in both semi-automatic and automatic manufacturing equipment to improve efficiency and prepare for growth without substantial increases in manpower. There are close to 1,000+ cases manufactured each year in a clean, safe manufacturing facility owned by the Company. The administrative offices Adjoining the 56,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant with a separate 120,000 sq. ft. warehouse building next door and another adjacent 60,000 sq. ft. warehouse building under construction to be completed in February 2023.NeilMed is looking for an extremely dynamic, experienced and possibly bilingual (English/Spanish) manufacturing executive. NeilMed facility is a ISO 13485, CE Mark as well as FDA certified over-the-counter drug, and +1 device manufacturing facility. Experience in similar production environments is required.We expect the Director of Manufacturing to start work at 5:30am to organize the day's production along with other managers and supervisors. NeilMed provides full benefits. Base salary rate will be in excess of $100K plus 25% performance incentives. Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of production software with NetSuite and High Jump preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and a good knowledge in Excel is expected. NeilMed has customized software to automatically schedule production work orders, issue purchase orders and report deficits of raw materials and low finished goods inventory. NeilMed has always maintained a well-stocked raw materials inventory to benefit production and to reduce any hassles related to supply chain issues.
The ideal candidate must have sufficient knowledge of mechanical equipment, OSHA certification, and preferably six Sigma training. It is necessary to possess a high level of stamina to manage multiple production lines and shifts to ensure consistent improvement implementation. The candidate must be extremely disciplined and hard-working to ensure proper production planning and maintain zero out-of-stock inventory goals.If selected for this key role, NeilMed will reimburse for relocation expenses. -The Director will report to the VP of Manufacturing. -In addition to the Santa Rosa facility, this individual will coordinate with NeilMed's other manufacturing facilities in Ontario, California and New Jersey with the possible opportunity to travel to Europe and Asia for machinery procurement.
