The Associate Director, Specialty/Oncology Care Model Strategy plays a key role in the development of our patient support strategies across the Specialty and Oncology portfolios for current and future pipeline products. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys identifying potential opportunities to create exceptional patient treatment plan experiences. This person will be responsible for leading program enhancements, partnering with Sales and Marketing, Legal/Compliance, and additional stakeholders. This position is office-based.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Participate in integrated brand teams providing patient support program expertise in the overall brand plan
  • Lead the care model strategy for new and existing products as shaped by leadership
  • Drive the evolution of care model strategies based upon product life cycle
  • Present care model story to multiple internal stakeholders inclusive but not limited to senior leadership and field-based teams
  • Co-manage the pull through of the care model strategic plan within the patient support organization
  • Engage in tactical plan execution
  • Collaborate to ensure launch readiness along with post launch support
  • Participate the patient support business tactical plans to ensure strategy is fulfilled
  • Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with commercial business partners in sales, managed healthcare, trade and marketing teams
  • Lead the insight discovery activities and the care model design exercises for Specialty/Oncology patient support programs
  • Direct and leverage competitive intelligence research and communication within organization to maintain market knowledge
  • Participate in market research initiatives, consulting and advisory boards compliantly
  • Seek to identify customer, access and program industry trends to enhance current patient support programs
  • Work in conjunction with finance, legal, regulatory and compliance, etc
  • Contribute to a high level of cross-functional coordination and strategic/tactical planning through ongoing communications as well as contributing to a positive team culture
  • Ability to manage 25% travel
    Qualifications
    Qualifications:
    • Requires minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree a plus.
    • A minimum of 3-5 years in the pharmaceutical industry with expertise in market access, patient support, sales, marketing, or related commercial function in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
    • Experience leading within a matrix organization a plus
    • Expertise in specialty and/or oncology pharmaceutical products is preferred.
    • Experience in Medical/Legal/Regulatory Review processes at a pharmaceutical manufacturer
    • Candidates should have working knowledge of the compliance and regulatory environment for manufacturers in the pharmaceutical space
    • This is an office-based position. This position requires up to 25% travel.Skills/Knowledge Required:
      • Strong holistic visionary with ability to understand the macro strategy and to dive deep into tactical execution ensuring the main business objectives are achieved.
      • Strong writing and presentation skills.
      • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow up and anticipate problems.
      • Ability to lead across multiple functions (sales, managed healthcare, trade, marketing).
      • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced, deadline driven, entrepreneurial environment.
