Job Description:

Project Manager — Structural Steel Construction Job Responsibilities: • Support and assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing assigned steel construction projects. • Ensure all work complies with contract requirements, project specifications, and schedule commitments. • Review construction project plans, architectural/structural drawings, and shop drawings for accuracy and completeness. • Prepare and issue purchase requests for raw materials needed for fabrication. • Process Requests for Information (RFIs), change orders, and maintain clear project documentation. • Manage and schedule workflows, including shop drawing processing, fabrication timelines, and field installation activities. • Coordinate with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. • Attend and actively participate in construction site meetings to address project updates, challenges, and action items. • Monitor project progress and assist with problem resolution to maintain on-time and on-budget performance. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Strong attitude toward personal performance, accountability, and teamwork. • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat. • Able to read, interpret, and work with architectural and structural drawings. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to describe technical and project information clearly. • Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus, but not required. • Ready to commit to on-site work — this position is not remote.
