Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is perfect
for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) looking to support
students with moderate to severe behavioral challenges in a school
environment. The position is based in Wheatland, CA, and offers a
contract role through June 3rd, 2026, with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide speech-language therapy support
under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. -
Work directly with students exhibiting moderate to severe
behavioral needs. - Implement therapy plans designed to improve
communication skills. - Collaborate with educational teams to
monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications & Experience: - Certification as a Speech-Language
Pathology Assistant (SLPA). - Experience working in school settings
preferred. - Ability to manage a caseload involving students with
moderate to severe behavior challenges. - Strong communication and
collaborative skills. - Availability to work approximately 16 hours
per week (2 days a week). Location: - Wheatland, CA This contract
