California, United States (Remote) Type: Full Time Our client is
seeking a proactive and relationship?focused Provider Relations
Manager to build strong partnerships across our provider network
and support high?quality care delivery for the communities we
serve. This role combines hands-on provider engagement, performance
consulting, and operational problem-solving—ideal for someone who
excels in a dynamic, field?based environment. Responsibilities As
the Provider Relations Manager, you will: Provider Engagement &
Relationship Management Serve as the primary contact for assigned
provider groups Conduct regular in?person visits to deliver
support, review performance data, and identify improvement
opportunities Strengthen provider relationships through education,
collaboration, and ongoing communication Lead provider onboarding,
orientations, and ongoing training sessions Issue Resolution &
Operational Support Triage provider concerns and coordinate
solutions with internal teams Respond to questions related to
claims, processes, policies, and operational requirements
Investigate claim issues, communicate resolutions, and monitor
follow?up Process and maintain updates to provider demographic and
administrative data Performance & Network Optimization Use
analytics to monitor provider performance and develop action plans
for improvement Support providers in meeting goals related to:
Value?based care initiatives Quality metrics (e.g., HEDIS) Cost and
utilization efficiency Incentive programs and risk?based agreements
Manage network performance through a consultative,
account?management approach Lead or participate in special projects
as assigned Compliance & Travel Maintain adherence to
organizational and regulatory standards Requirements Bachelor’s
degree in a related field or equivalent experience 2 years of
experience in managed care, provider relations, medical group
operations, quality improvement, contracting, claims, UM, or
clinical operations Project management experience in a medical
group, IPA, or health plan setting is preferred Strong
understanding of HEDIS/quality measures, cost trends, and
utilization analytics Exceptional communication,
relationship?building, and problem?solving skills Ability to work
