Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services in K-12 schools within the Washington DC area, approximately 45 minutes south of the city. Assignments will be made in up to two schools and involve working primarily with elementary and middle school students. The contract runs from January 5, 2026, through May 29, 2026. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language pathology evaluations and interventions to students with diverse communication needs Manage caseloads typically around 50 students, with a maximum of 55 Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans Maintain clear documentation and compliance with state licensure and school district standards Qualifications: Active Virginia SLP licensure is required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows will be considered with provided supervision Candidates without prior school experience are welcome to apply Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) may be considered if qualified Schedule and Location: Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday Part-time candidates who can work at least 20 hours weekly will also be considered Assignments are located within the Washington DC metropolitan area; specific schools will be discussed during the interview to ensure fit Benefits: Opportunity to work in rewarding school settings serving K-12 populations Supportive environment with clearly defined caseload limits Supervision provided for clinical fellows Interested candidates with appropriate licensure and a passion for school-based speech therapy services are encouraged to apply.
