THE ROLE As a Senior Industrial Designer atNewDealDesign, you will deliver design work that shapes project outcomes and supports business goals. You will collaborate with the entire design and engineering teams and combinedesign excellence with client engagement. You will report to the Director of Industrial Design. This role demands ahands-on approach and commitment and is entirely onsite. WHAT YOU WILL DO Provide tactical management of ID projects,collaborating withEngineers, Experience Designers, and Design Strategiststo develop ideas and meet technicalrequirements. Craft and organize all visual designs, writtendocuments,and presentationseffectivelyfor clients needs. Assist NDD leadership in client-facing meetings and other professional functions. Provideexpertiseworking with an array of design tools to complete projects, such as 3D CAD SolidWorks, 3D Rendering, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft365to bring projects and presentations to life. Demonstrate your understanding of the value of color, materials, and finishes as it applies to product design. An exceptional designer withexpertiseencompassing concept to refinement, details in support of engineering, attention to form, interaction details, and CMF throughout all ID project phases. Location: Our creative studiois located inthe South Park area of San Francisco! REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in industrial design or equivalent. Must have 3-5 years of recent and very relevantindustrial design experience. Eligible to work in the US. Excellence in relevant digital tools SolidWorks,Keyshot, Adobe CC. Excellent hand-sketching and form-development. Great problem-solving and communication skills. Demonstrate strong mechanical understanding and ability to interact with internal and external engineering teams. Must havea portfoliothatshowcasesyourcreative process, excellentformcontrol,storytelling,and craft(sketches and models).
