Marriott International seeks a dedicated Administrative Assistant for our Engineering department, located at one of our premier properties. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient operations within the engineering team, which is crucial for maintaining the exceptional service standard and luxurious environment that Marriott is known for globally. The successful candidate will support administrative tasks, manage communication between different departments, and assist in project management tasks ensuring our engineering services contribute to the marvelous guest experience at our properties. Provide administrative support to the Engineering Manager and department staff. Organize and maintain project documentation, schedules, and departmental records. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure all necessary materials are available. Liaise with other departments to coordinate activities and projects. Assist in budget monitoring and expense control activities. Handle communications within the department and with external contacts as needed. Prepare regular reports on departmental activities and project statuses. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong organizational and planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in project management and administrative support. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) is desirable. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but not required.
