POSITION SUMMARY:Seeking a Staff Accountant to join Jackson Family Enterprises' finance department to assist with major reporting and reconciliation duties, assisting team with month-end closing procedures, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant US GAAP, including various other accounting tasks.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:Month-End Close Process / Journal entries:

• Preparation and entry of monthly journal entries in JD Edwards, as assigned
• Work with various departments and related party companies to ensure accruals and reclasses are processed in a timely manner
• Prepare account reconciliations and propose adjusting entries as needed
• Other tasks as assignedAudit Support:
  • Assist with updates and documentation of process narratives and controls
  • Prepare reports and schedules necessary to support audit and tax requirements
  • Prepare confirmations and footnote disclosures, as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS:Essential Skills, Experience, and Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or related Major, or work experience equivalent
    • MS Office experience with strong emphasis on Excel
    • A positive, proactive, and service-oriented attitude is mandatory, with a commitment to excellence, accuracy, and high standards
    • Strong analytical and math skillset
    • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to precisely follow detailed written instructions, offset with the understanding and ability to be flexible when the situation calls for it
    • Strong desire to continuously improve self and work processes
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skillset, at a level appropriate for Executive communicationAdditional Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education
      • Two years' work experience desirable, Wine Industry preferred
      • Advanced Excel proficiency - a high level of comfort with Pivot Tables, XLookups/VLookups, Data Integrity and other advanced Excel functions
      • ERP and database experience desired, JD Edwards ERP a significant plus
      • Business Intelligence/Business Objects experience a plusPhysical Requirements:
        • Ability to work at physical office location (on-site) in Santa Rosa, CAPay Range:$56,838 - $71,048 - $85,258 annuallyBenefits:
