We're looking to add a qualified accountant to our team!The ideal candidate will have at least three years experience in a CPA firm and have varied public accounting experience including the preparation of tax returns and financial statements. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a team first attitude. Responsibilities-- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust income tax returns (review experience is a plus!)-- Prepare detailed work papers for both tax and A&A engagements-- Prepare month end and year end closings for business clients-- Account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, adjusting journal entries, general accounting needs-- Interact with clients to coordinate information needed for projects and resolve issues-- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously-- Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships-- Develop an understanding of our firms accounting structure and work cultureQualifications-- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field-- Minimum 3 years experience in a public accounting firm-- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)-- CPA license or CPA candidate currently sitting for the CPA exam-- Excellent written and oral communication
